Been to two places in the past month.

The first was Haven from a previous post regarding YuYu.

She is clearly not, but similar to the IG photo. Good depiction. It was mentioned she was the front desk girl from Honey in cm. I've been there plenty of times in the past, but did not recognize her. The spa I own is a membership spa. There are quite a few around OC. I wouldn't recommend Massage Envy for too many reasons that I won't get into here, but any of the others are good. Massage is a very personal thing so you have to kind of shop around and find a therapist who is a good fit for you. The good national chains with this model are Elements, Massage Heights, Hand & Stone, Spa Gregories. These are the ones I can name off the top of my head. Other local chains that are good include Burke Williams and Glen Ivy / Spa at the Glen. You go there for a good, legit massage, which is very different than any massage you will get at any mongering spots. Actual massage therapists who are properly trained and do massage for a living see themselves as healers. You fill out an intake form which isn't a lot different than a form you fill out at your doctor's office, and they will do a full intake consultation with you to figure out why you're there and what you need. Maybe you're just there for a little relaxation and stress relief, or maybe you have some sort of chronic pain that you want them to work on. That's why you go to these places and pay $80 or more +tip for a fully legit massage. The membership gets you a reduced price. Normally there's a $40 or $50 difference between the member and non-member prices. Don't even think about trying to get extras at any of these places. They will throw your ass out of there quicker than you can blink with no refund, and depending on what you did, may actually even press charges against you. You will stay fully draped during your service, your junk will never be exposed, and no private areas will be touched.

The other thing is that fully legit spas hire therapists based on their massage skills, not their looks. We have to. If the massages we give aren't top notch, we hear about it very quickly. I have an amazing staff of therapists, but I don't have a single one that you'd necessarily want yanking your crank.

Yes, there are some fully licensed, fully trained and experienced massage therapists out there who will give a "legit" massage while fully nude with a release at the end, but that's a rarity, and you absolutely won't find them at any of the chain places. The reality of those is you're really going for the extras and the massage is just a bonus. If that was going on at any established place, the ownership would fire that MT on the spot the second they caught wind of it. You have too much at risk. You literally invested your life savings, hundreds of thousands of dollars, on your spa. Nobody is going to risk that over a few handjobs.
