Like others, I'm not a fan of that area north of Hartford -- I have to admit I don't have any real evidence or bad personal experience there, but the area sketches me out. "Spidey senses" I guess. Something about it, too industrial, too remote -- I just get this feeling that it's super obvious why I'm in the area somehow, as in no real plausible deniability for anything else. We all have our own monger rules that generally keep us safe, and everyone's are a bit different. These are part of mine, personally.

I did a drive-by of her motel north of Hartford (was considering breaking my personal rule about that area and about incall in general to see her), but no. Had to bail. Too many people just sitting in their cars in the lot (pimps got to go somewhere, right? Or undercovers watching, photographing? Or an opportunistic third party who knows that if I go in they at least have the duration of a QV to steal my car, or shit out of my car, or my catalytic converter or something (and then, how do I explain my presence there to the cop when I report my car stolen -- uh, business meeting, sir?) Too many really blacked out cars I couldn't see in.

It's important to look at mongering from everyone's perspective -- mine, the girl's, the pimp's, the car thief's, the cop's, etc.

Plus, when street view has this image at the location, ya got to think twice.

I'm not a fan either but I do visit on occasion. When I do it's only daytime and I do a drive through first. Then park at one of the fine dining establishments nearby and walk to my destination.

I tried to visit Erin recently to check out the her hub bub. Alas, no luck.
