Great job making sure you've picked a house sitter quality SB the first time you ever meet.

Absolutely agree with this. All this SB stuff is just temporary fun. And not worth losing everything else that you have built up in your life. Luckily I have not had any bad SB experiences where I got cheated or got robbed. But got ghosted a lot. The worst that happened was one SB got too drunk and I had to let her stay the night at the hotel I booked. Which I had done before but I would always let them book in their name rather than my name if they plan to stay the night. I politely declined to see her again. Though the sex was good the drinking was not to my tastes. I have one SB since 2 years now though I still like to hunt. But kind of tired. And will quit this after current SB moves on. No where have I exposed my real name. I usually get a dependent credit card with a phony name and use that when I have to use it in front of the SB. My current SB still calls me by my SA profile name. And that's all she cares about. Being paranoid in this hobby is a very good thing IMHO.

Posts: 40It's not really a choice
If it got up the chain in my company that I was in the sugar business I would immediately lose my position, and would likely struggle to find a replacement that even comes close to my current salary. For obvious reasons I'm not going to state what company it is I work for or what we do. All I can really say is that me getting exposed as a sugar daddy would cause a serious headache for more people than just myself. Lot's of fragile connections held together by mandatory good PR.

Sorry, not sorry.

Posts: 350I have the same approach with sbs in general. I will from time to time go more casual for someone particularly hot, but I have had some great relationships with sbs.

Are you finding them? I'm in sb and couple other sites, not finding any luck.

Posts: 277What you're describing is more traditional long-term committed sugar dating. That's not typically what goes on with seeking and such. It's a revolving door. A lot of sugar daddies prefer a variety. I've had a few sugar babies that were long-term but I didn't keep privacy things from. And I did trust them. But they are far and few between. The majority of young women willing to sugar date have a few screw loose and you best protect yourself. You think with Johnny Depp went through was a nightmare, you have no idea what lurks out there in the sugar bowl.

But yes, if you develop a true relationship, which is what you're doing and trust is established then you can have more of an open door policy. I don't advice stop though. I dated a sugar baby who seems perfectly normal for about a year. Then the crazy slowly but surely started to reveal itself. It's in there lurking somewhere.

I'm sure I'll get roasted for this but why'all just pick the wrong girls. I get all this for a quick fuck, but I'm on my third long term (shortest was 1. 5 years) SB and I don't follow any of this. They know my real name, my address, I travel with them, passports, IDs, hotel reservations all in my real name. They stay at my house and pet sit for me when I'm out of town. I've trusted all three of them implicitly and they've done the same with me. I do their freaking taxes for them LOL. I even got invited to the first ones wedding and the most recent ones graduation! There's good ones out there, just choose better and then you don't have to worry as much. But to each their own.

Sorry this happened, but it seems like you've got things pretty tight. WTF have thing come to when we can't even count on the ladies making an honest dishonest living

A few other lessons learned (these have all been "oh shit" moments for me) :
1. If she will be in your car, make sure any identifying info (ex registration, inspection paperwork etc.) is removed or locked up tight.
2. If your car has named "profiles" (seat / mirrors etc.) - remove your name from them and just use initials or a generic name.
3. Pay for food / drinks (really anything where your CC might be exposed to them) with cash if possible. If you do pay with a card at a nice restaurant, be ready to preempt the waiter / waitress when they are returning with it before that say "Thanks for dining with us Mr Jones".
4. Don't keep your wallet or any other info in the room.

I deleted my SA account after that fiasco with the bipolar chick down in Fayetteville to wash my hands of the scene completely. That situation really opened my eyes to how insane most of the women in this hobby are (especially the attractive ones on SA).
Anyways, I woke up to an ominous text on my burner from an unknown number saying: "Just wait until everyone finds out you're a sugar daddy, it's going to be so embarassing". No clue who it was, how they got the burner number, or what their goal was. Didn't even entertain them with a response. Guessing it was the first step in a blackmail attempt. The length these skanks will go through to try and get the upper hand and make a quick buck!
Take this tale as a sign to be more careful out there gentlemen. Even though my precautions will (hopefully) pay off, I know that there are a plethora of guys in the scene who don't look out for themselves like they should. Below are some of the steps I've taken to protect my identity. Some of them are admittedly pretty extreme, but highly recommended if you want to rest easy when faced with dumb threats or crazy SBs.
1) Get a proper burner phone. Google Voice / TextNow doesn't count. Get a proper shitty phone with a fake name and pay with a gift card (if possible) or cash. If you're on a sugar daddy website you should be able to afford this without a hitch.
2) Come up with a good fake name. My best advice is to pick a name that starts towards the opposite end of the alphabet. Avoid using the name of anyone tied closely with your real social media profiles (if you have any). Don't want your real profile to show up recommended next to your friend's whose name you used, do you?
3) If you insist on using real pictures of yourself: take unique ones specifically for your profile and blur / crop your face out of it. Take them in places that aren't necessarily associated with you. Never send saveable pictures of yourself thru any media channels and never use those pictures anywhere else.
4) Most younger women on SA want to talk via a social media app. Make a fake account. Use a unique username, fake display name, etc. I recommend you only install the app on a burner phone as well. Do not link any identifiable information to your fake account.
5) Hopefully by now you've established a vague and easy-to-remember pseudo-identity for yourself. Unless you're outright marrying an SB, never ever reveal any real details about who you really are and what you really do.
6) When in doubt, back out. If you have any reason to think you're being played, set up, toyed with, or if she's asking too many questions: ask yourself if she's really that good of a lay and if it's worth putting you and your career at risk. The answer should almost always be "no".
7) Remember: you are nothing but a cash cow to most of these women. They can and will turn on you if they see an opportunity to milk you for more money. Give them nothing to work with.
Hope this helps someone out there.
