Did my first Milwaukee cruise of the year Saturday, the gas damn near broke me as its 170 miles each way plus whatever I cruise. I arrived at 35th and National at 9:05 AM and headed East on National. I just looked up an article on the new mayor. This is an eye-opener that shows me I had been ignorant in mouthing off about the mayoral race without knowing a damn thing about the other candidates. Perhaps I would have supported Donovan if I had known that it was a two-person race, and the social implications and policies that were at stake. Of course, it's unlikely that this new mayor will be any worse than Barrett.
