I would have believed this in 2012 thru 2016 when you had some walkers and online posters in this zip code, I'm not buying it fully now in 2022. Makes more sense to blend into a sketchy apartment complex, which there are plenty of in this zip code.

So try the many microbreweries outside of downtown. Columbus is nice for this, but caters more to younger or well off singles.

Examples (many more) Try Upscale areas to the north: Dublin / North High, Powell / Nocterra or east / Granville brew or Trek or Brewdog or rural Fairfield county / Outerbelt or Rockmill or so many, many more. I've been solo or with a couple of friends to all of these and observe it happens everywhere.

Each has their own vibe, but most are a mix of well off divorcees, hard working nurses and teachers needing stress relief or just party girlx.

Bonuses include most are local so you can hit their places with no obligations to pay and the ability to leave. Plus you get the brew tour.

Try Tinder. You have to weed out the pros and the scams but if you have patience you can get some great results.
