Times have definitely changed. The last twenty years in the area show that the providers ebb and flow, for sure. I still think of the best providers I have seen and they have been unmatched for the last 10 or 15 years. I do feel that providers decades ago, some of them anyway, did care more about customer satisfaction. Anyone who's been hobbying for long enough has plenty of stories to share but as was mentioned in this thread, they should represent the good and the bad. I don't know that I've ever experienced the risk in years past as we see now with poor performance, high cost, chemical use, menu and robbery / scam. Plus the pandemic. My best experiences have been with providers long gone to wherever high quality providers go when they retire and my worst were with those who came with no reviews, mixed reviews and positive reviews alike. Some of my best were tried and true favorites of the forum as well as one or two TOFTT that still give me a pause when I think about how good they were. I do believe I had a different handle in those days with an e-mail long gone but I did post reviews, though probably minus the play by play. I took a break for a couple years and came back to my absolutely worst experience. This was a Branford gal who got mixed reviews, stalled me for an hour or more and when I finally got the go ahead I accidentally walked into the wrong shit hole apartment (not numbered and all looked the same) where I walked into a dude packing a huge amount of drugs into a bag. Whoops. I think many want to keep the good ones quiet (but we are kidding ourselves if we think we are keeping them to OURSELVES) and want the masses to share the risk on the TOFTTs.
