I suspect most folks here have read and heard about the theft to catalytic converters. What's even more concerning is that quite a few of them occur in broad daylight, and even in areas where there are quite a few cars parked. The other day I was watching some such videos of thefts in Denver and some towns around LA, and was shocked how daring those thieves are. One video indicated that a woman saw the thievery in action, and tried to stop it. She was subsequently beat up.

Also, it seems these thieves have a group of people involved: one person jacks up the car, another cuts off the catalytic converter, and one or two others stand guard as lookouts. Definitely not good!

So, I'm wondering how concerned folks are when they park their cars not in a garage / enclosed area, even when visiting a provider. Yesterday I went out to an AMP in Edgewood, and their location was rather "isolated". This is the place:

It is located in a small "office" complex. There were only 2 other vehicles parked there (I've been there a few times before, and it was just about the same). I was able to relax for the most part while the woman serviced me, but still concerned.

Would like to hear other thoughts.

Being that it's a common thing these days, I don't worry about it too much. I don't go out of my way to avoid parking somewhere because these thefts are occurring in all kinds of neighborhoods, both good and bad. I just hope I don't get hit. I plan on painting my converter with a bright orange high temp paint and engraving my VIN on the converter. I'm also going to buy one of those Cat Clamps that will hopefully make my car less attractive to converter thieves. These are not totally fool proof methods, but it will hopefully convince a would be converter thief to think twice about hitting my car.

Jeez, some of you guys try to play off being Kgirl experts and all things Korean and you aren't even close. Guys, please stop. It's embarrassing. There's a reason why Seattle doesn't get any more good Kgirls and this is why: too many idiot clients. Has nothing to do with money. They know that they can come here and easily trap a rich white guy, but it's way too much of a headache. Every time a quality Kgirl comes up here, it's a one-and-done situation because they never want to come back. Guys, they all understand English but pretend not to because they can't stand your constant yapping.

If you guys only knew half the shit Mischa and Lindsey said about you guys (and they gave names), quite a few of you wouldn't be saying shit right now. Think about, what is the common denominator here? All the tech guys have money, so money isn't the issue. Can't be competition because a quality Kgirl would be making a killing. Can't be LE because Kgirls agencies have been around for awhile now. What else could it be? Oh yeah, the idiot clients that can't follow directions, try so hard to show off their knowledge on all things Korean, the rich Chinese mama's boys that literally have actual hissy fits when a Kgirl won't see them OTC, and the fob Indian clients that smell like shit.

And to the "experts," just because a Kgirl gave you her "personal" phone number doesn't mean shit. She's given that number to about 30 other people. In each city she's traveled to LMAO.

Guys, you need to stop. Just give reviews, but stop with the all the background nonsense.

Maybe the next congress can improve on their Fester Siesta Act (a fully Repub_likan bill) and get a national law modeled on the Texas Repup_likan felony soliciting law. I didn't know it was BLM that gave them those 2nd amendment rights. I would expect the incident was more related to the reduced cash flow from the improved enforcement activity.

Man, what's happened. This scene has gone to shit. Where did all the good providers go? Seems like a few pop up and disappear after a few days and some quick cash.

Messaged 30 ish providers and they either don't respond, want 300-400 for all covered everything, full safe, no GFE, or want $600+ to take the cover off just for a BJ. Those who do agree to meet ghost. Got desperate and messaged a gal I've CIP in before and she stood me up for an hour and showed up for a ride to tubs either drunk or high to look like a zombie from thriller. I've seen several times when a boyfriend, husband, or brother came into the club and made the awful discovery that their girlfriend, wife, or sister was on display and in action at the club. Full Jerry Springer.

A few of full-on girlfights too, one with a knife. It is also funny as fuck watching the fat bouncers try to break up a girl fight.

One time at a Deja Vu on a Friday night it was all crowded on the couches. One girl was sucking away with great enthusiasm and didn't stop. Not even when the music stopped, she was called to the bar, and the lights came on. When her guy finally finished there was a circle of people around her and her customer watching her get her tonsils creamed.

One time at the Sands I was walking out to the exit, and a girl was right next to me. Two guys came in looking pretty determined. The girl commented to me after they passed us that they looked like they were going to rob the place. I walked out and drove off, not really thinking about it. Turns out they did rob the place and all of the girls and customers.

Not technically a strip club, more of an open-air ***** house: one evening on one of the Sois in Bangkok I was nursing a beer and watching people walk by. I saw this very tall, good looking dude walk out of one of the bars across the street. He looked both ways carefully and then took off at a very quick walk. Right as he took off a girl came out of the bar, grabbed one of the guys on a motorcycle (that are always outside of these bars) and started yelling and pointing at the dude who was now running down the street. The guy yelled and pointed and all of a fucking sudden about a dozen guys converged on that dude, tackled him in the middle of the street, and proceeded to beat the fuck out of him.

Another time in Thailand I walked into one bar and two girls were pulling a train. From their cum-glazed bodies it had obviously been going on for a while. I got a beer and watched for about fifteen minutes and left.

Those are wild experiences, thanks for sharing them.
