Chatted with her for a while. Then we agreed I come to her. Send 50 $ by Paypal first. So I did that. But she could not get the money the same day. We tried again with 40 $ with a girlfriend from her. But that did not work either. Maybe because my PayPal is in Germany and sending Money "To a friend" outside of Germany will block it for 24 hours for security reasons.

Then she told me I should bring the rest in eBay Gift cards. Ok I went to 7/11 and bought eBay Gift Cards.

Then I should open the last 2 digits of the Redemption Code and send her a photo. When the numbers on the bottom of the card where not complete she requested me for a new photo.

Ok all was fine. She told me the hotel near the airport in Honolulu.

I went there and asked her for the room number. I should wait in the lobby.

After 10 minutes I asked again. She told me she has an issue with a security guard. He wants 50 $ to let me come into her room.

She told me she has a lot of rumors with that guy. Ok, in the evening she wants to come to me.

In the evening I told her that I am at home. Ok she will start to come.

This is normally a way of 20 Minutes from the Hotel to my place in Honolulu.

After 45 Minutes I asked her and returned a story from Car broken, she is at a gasoline station with car repair to deal with them. (It was after 10 pm already).

I told her, tell me where I pick you up and bring you back to your hotel later.

No she bring back the car to her hotel and then we can do the pickup and bring back.

But she did not answer in WhatsApp anymore.

Next day message so sorry she went back to hotel and was so tired. Fall in sleep.

Ok sorry it is too late now. I fly back home.

Send me back the 90 $ in PayPal. I will use the eBay cards.

The PayPal money did never come back.

Back home in Germany I opened all redemption codes on the eBay Gift Cards and checked the balance on them.

All where not found. I believe she found a way to get the money.

I could see that the first 9 digits of the redemption code are printed in the numbers on the bottom.

But the next 2 digits I don't know how she found them. The last 2 digits she had because I opened them.

Does anyone know how this scam works?

Rule #1, never give money, CC, Money Order, Bank Acct number, Venmo, PayPal, etc. When I read your post and they asked for PayPal, that was the red flag. Maybe you can get away with that in Germany but here in USA, 99% it's a scam. Hope lesson learned from your experience. Sadly you kissed that money goodbye. Seriously, you got scammed on this provider. Hono1.

Anyone got info on this one. I tried to set up an appointment and was told location.
