Several days ago I stopped by Paradise in Mesa hoping to meet Jessie. Another lady let me in and said it's be 10 minutes. 10 minutes later another client arrived. 10 minutes after that Jessie arrived and said it's be another 5 minutes. Today I woke up and had Krystal on my mind over at Aloha. I called to confirm an appointment but was disappointed to find out that she is no longer there. I have to agree. If the service and experience is superior, I will also tip more.

If it isn't good, I will let mamasan know and usually the next time it is much better.

I've had the mamasan give me money back after poor service more often than not. You have to negotiate. The times and prices have changed a lot for everything in the past couple of years. I'm cool with an extra $20-40 for excellent service, but not for average or poor service. It sucks to get shorted and it happens to us all. Having a plan B is a good idea.

Like tipping at the bar then getting better service and a few "free" drinks, tipping providers well can lead to a level of service that you wouldn't get otherwise. Yes, both have a risk vs reward factor and nothing is guaranteed. That being said, if the asking price is too high or the provider is "not my type", I am always ready to walk. And of course, YMMV.
