I'm probably lucky I've never been arrested. In my earlier days, I made dates and went to hotels without even thinking about it. It wasn't until I started reading up more and interacting with like minded gents like yourselves that I get paranoid about hotel providers. Not saying they couldn't bust you in a house, but that's one of my hurdles for approaching new providers. What else do you look for to ease your mind?

Back before April 2021 when "engaging in prostitution" didn't exist I was a lot more loose. I would go to hotels and if I went to a house I would just run an auditors search to make sure it wasnt owned by the land bank (both 2021 akron stings used land bank owned houses, then put them up on zillow shortly after.) I would just run the numbers on search sites to make sure it wasnt an obvious sting platform, or look for clues and find their social media and run case searches on the provider before I met them to get a feel for who I was dealing with. I don't have that problem of being unhappily married (thank God), but now that "engaging in prostitution" exists though and Ohio has gotten more sophisticated with their sting ops, the ONLY Way I'm meeting any women, is at a bar first, even off a regular dating app. No way in hell anything like that would hold up in court, especially if you do it in a different court jurisdiction then where the ad is located. Known providers that I've seen before if I decided to go and see them I obviously wouldn't go through those steps and just go to their incall, but I would still search for recent open cases on case search before I would go to see them just in case there was that microscopic chance they were stinging their clients. also that way im aware if they have warrants so im on guard that a potential Beauty situation could materialize. Ugh. That's messed up. I also get it. New people are basically strangers so I don't blame them for going with what's comfortable. But in my situation, it wasn't a last minute call. For as much as they complain about guys not showing, you would hope they would show the same courtesy but nope. I have driven out to a location and waited for the address only to have them never respond. Today I had a provider flake out on me and it had me wondering how often this has happened to you guys. I would like to preface this by saying that I always respect providers for what they do. I know they deal with a lot of nonsense from shitty clientele and / or guys that just want to waste their time. So to that end, I make sure I am clear and courteous in my interactions. So last Saturday I messaged a provider (I'm not naming names because I'm not trying to throw her under the bus here, but she is very popular and has a lot of good reviews) and didn't get a response. I was out and about, so I waited a few hours and decided that this wasn't happening. No message back. Fine. I ended up just going home. I normally don't send follow up texts if someone doesn't respond, but I thought maybe something was wrong with the text app. So I messaged her later that evening and this time I got a response. She said she had received my message but was scared of taking on new clients. I had no issues with this. Totally understandable. However, we ended up exchanging messages for about an hour. She was telling me a things that clients do that bothered her and how they weren't courteous etc. It was actually a nice conversation that ended with her agreeing to see me.
