Not too bad from downtown. Chinatown area and also some a little further southwest of the strip. VAC would be the furthest from you. The others are closer.

Some of the places do a pick up and drop off service for $50 last time I checked. It's about as much as an uber to and from the strip. Renting a car is more convenient than their 'taxi' service which is more convenient than uber.
