Posts: 557It does provide some security when going to unencrypted sites like this one. If the site is HTTPS, then there is not much benefit. I think all the antivirus companies have jumped on the bandwagon to generate more income. It really bothers me that my antivirus company insists you use their VPN when connecting to your bank. I do not want anyone in the middle of my bank communications.

VPN has its place. I supported the VPN concentrator where I worked before retiring. We did not allow split tunneling, so it protected our company network. VPN is more about protecting the company you connect too than protecting the users using it.
VPN can be used to hide your identity, but not from the VPN provider. I love that the VPN companies say the do not log you and then give the logs they do not have to LE. I am sure if you drill down in their terms of service, it states that. Logs are very helpful when a user has an issue, so I expect most if not all VPN providers to keep logs. They may not plan to share them, but LE can force them to share them.

Posts: 253Agree. A VPN service is just a man-in-the-middle attack that rolled a critical hit.

Posts: 557Had a friend get hacked. He called for help. I almost died laughing when he told me his password was Passw0rd. He actually thought they would never think of using a capital P and zero for the o. I bet that is one of the early passwords a password cracker tries.

Posts: 386It has given people a false sense of security, and they market themselves heavily to fill that. Ranging from statements such as "stop your ISPs from tracking you" to "keep prying eyes from seeing what you do".

Nevermind that some of those very same "VPN" providers are tracking what you do. Including some of the very paid ones that the person you replied to is talking about. Some of those self-proclaimed "no log VPNs" certainly had quite a few logs on hand when they were looked into.

Posts: 557Retired Network Engineer. I think this VPN fade is funny. This site is a problem, because it does not use HTTPS. HTTPS is encrypted, so it is secure. VPN just "hides" you from the website you are connecting to. Google has figured out how to track via cookies even when you use VPN. That is why I do not use google anymore. They are more dangerous than LE (law enforcement). I think the people who preach security and then have a gmail email address are hilarious. If LE really wants to track you, VPN provide a little more security and I stress a little more. If they really want to track you it is hard to stop LE or google for that matter. The biggest problem I have seen is people use passwords that are to easy to hack. VPN without a complex password is not a good idea. Security starts with good passwords. Get a good password manager and use its password generator to create complex hard to crack passwords. If allowed, I use 16 character passwords that include at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one number and one special character.

Posts: 557You never know unless you try. I saw a lady where I lived before. She had massage training and even taught massage to others. She gave an outstanding massage. You could have a body slide, breast play, DATY, BBBJ or CBJ if you preferred and CFS after the massage all for $150. She also provided an edging HJ as an option. It was not uncommon for me to go with the edging HJ after a breast play and DATY warmup. She would get you right to the point of no return and use pressure points to stop you from popping. She could literally keep you right at the very enjoyable point of no return for 5 to 10 minutes. More than once, I almost pushed her hands aside, because I could not take it anymore and just wanted to pop even if I had to do it myself. She always seems to sense when you reached that point and would release the pressure points and let you cum. After edging you like that, it was always a very intense and very enjoyable orgasm. Many of the most enjoyable orgasms I have ever experienced were from her edging HJs. Never knock an edging HJ from a lady who knows what she is doing.

I drove by today to see and as reported earlier the sign out front was removed, the roadside flag was gone, even the open sign that sat in the window was gone. It was like it never existed. A true Oasis.

Those Youni / oasis girls don't care about the law. This is their 3rd store in the area. First Orient. Then Youni. Now oasis. I would not be surprised if they are still operating. I don't why there wasn't a press release on it yet. Don't worry fellas. They will be open again soon if they are not open now. There is too much cash money in the business. This reminds me of the girl from a few years ago that was busted in Towson. I'm staying away from them though.

Is there any confirmation of the raid? I've never been to Oasis nor was I planning to but when Youni got raided it was on the news.
