I lived in Jax for about 5 years before Covid. During Covid I moved away. My children live here so I'm in town almost every weekend. At least every other weekend.

Just before I moved away I went to look at a townhouse to rent. I turned off Atlantic and went back into the neighborhood behind Pinky's. The very first block I had to stop behind a truck while a girl got in. I thought nothing of it. But later when I was telling my friend I was thinking about moving he told me I should reconsider. That was called "Sin City" and filled me in on everything.

I went back to the women getting in the truck. She seemed kinda cute and she was thin and looked to be early twenties.

For the longest time it has intrigued me.

I've thought about going back down there and finding the little cutie and having her hop in my car.

I've never done this before.

Well it took a while but finally I got up the courage when I was in town to go look for her or someone like her.

I don't remember the exact spot I seen her, I just knew it was a block or so behind Pinky's.

I had no luck driving in those blocks.

All those areas you mentioned ARE the hot spots. Unfortunately Jax has been on a steady recession when it comes to SWans. Though you may hear about someone's good fortune on here. Stories / reviews has been far and few compared to a couple of years ago when the hunt was bountiful. That's not to say you may get a streak of good luck while some of us locals are striking out. Thanks to C19 and our sheriffs determination to clean up our town before the pandemic, he's thrown a wrench in the Game.

Best spot on Philipps is starting on University all the way north to Atlantic focusing around Wally World area and the notels north of Emerson.

In Sin City, it would be area east of Arlington Rd all the way to your location focusing on Acme, Bowlan and Century and all the side streets.

Lane would be areas around the notels, sandwich shop / gas station, the underpass and Romana.

Main St that'll be the area around MLK and further north like the gas station near 63rd. Scope our the side streets as well. Sometimes they'll be waddlin off the main track just so they aren't too exposed.

I'll let someone else explain Hooterville and Indian Country.

With all that being said, SWAN hunting here in Jax hasn't been definite. Also there are no definitive times or even locations to find them. They may be in season for like a day or two, an hour or two finding them in certain spots, then *WHOOSH! They've gone extinct for a spell.

But keep trying, be persistent and have some patience. Eventually you'll come across things to write home about- Or at least on the board.
