Most of the time, it's just bad coding or the site developer gets a little too ambitious in pulling system information to use in things like auto locate to automatically show you providers in your area. Their intent may be benign, but the effects does mean they're trying to gather so much system / personal information that it's triggering your AV software. Never override your security apps; they're there for a reason, and you paid for them to do exactly what they did. Because, in the end, the possibility that a known website getting compromised by bad people does exist. Browsing pussy ads is not the risk of getting ransomware or whatever virus is propagating.
