Threatened to kill my family and then me if I don't send $2900. What a scumbag trying to extort money via text. I googled the number and an article comes up from some teen in CA that got taken for a ride and lost all their money.

Long time user of Tracphone and prefer the physical separation of hobby phone from my personal / work phone. Plus the anonymity of burner fits my priorities. I migrated from flip to smart phone about 6 years ago / 2 phones ago and interesting thing is I continued to use the $20 white Tracphone 60 minute / 90 day card on the smart phone and it continues to work (did yesterday). I have triple minutes from my original Tracphone account setup so it adds 180 minutes / 180 text / 180 mb data each time to the smart phone. I use a lot of text and data so usually have to add a separate $10 blue Tracphone 1 GB data card (no days) once or twice a year. I recently tried the new blue 3 GB card with 30 days card and is an option but complicates things with a second redundant plan when you check balance. The remaining 3 GB rolls over every 30 days until exhausted so it didn't expire within it's card 30 day card window. My $. 02.

A while ago, someone on this fine site mentioned a Tracfone card which I had never seen. If you are using your Tracfone burner mostly through text, then this is the deal for you.

There is a card which will give you 1,000 text messages for $5. Yes, a thousand texts for five dollars. At that time, I bought a handful at Walmart. Since then, I have not seen them for sale anywhere at all.

So I looked it up on Amazon. Sure enough, they are available. I have ordered a few and have been successful.

Note, the card does not extend your service time, so you will still have to buy a $16 card for 90 days every few months. But if your providers are like the ones I correspond with, they can burn through texts like crazy. LOL!

These are the same conservatives that say they want less government intrusion in their lives, but it really only means they want their big businesses to be taxed less. And I doubt the hotel and restaurant lobbies give AF about these hourly places so they have no one to represent them. I understand the concern but how many trafficking cases have we heard about from various members of the this board in the past that was pimping out girls in regular hotel rooms? Quite a few. This is just a specific attack and attempt to shut these types of hotels down that people see as unsightly.

I was thinking about it and the funny thing about this is that of all the women I know you couldn't pay to be with any of them. I heard it was happening at the beginning of the year. Bought a new phone however with the ol reliable working just rode it out. Couple days ago I was in need so sent texts to my reliable go to gals. Not one replied, the phone showed them going thru would deduct minutes and everything. Wrong they went nowhere. Guess I will be activating the new one shortly. . damn inflation the new one is 20 a month vs 20 for 3 months for the old one.

Best bet is got to dollar store or wal Mart. Got a lg smart trac phone for $29. Works well better than my 12 year old virgin wireless kyrocera that wouldn't do emoji. Funny telling some providers I could only read half their texts. The good thing if anyone found it no one would believe it actually still worked as it was quite outdated. The old kyrocera wingman served me well for arranging over a decade of side action. The new phone is much better but costs more to keep running but bought a years worth of pre paid service for less than a single visit with a provider. The bonus I can do my research on the burner via my wifi hotspot off my phone so no worries about leaving a trail on personal phone so sites like twitter and instagram are now an option. Sometimes it's ok to upgrade your tech. Wish I had done it sooner.
