    Yup, stretch, nearly every day and often throughout the day. Not a PT nor a doctor, but I have a friend who is both a PT and an amateur weightlifting competitor and coach. He actually travels around the country to compete. He gave me some stretches and ideas long ago which I still use. He told me that it's important to also give the body some time-off from stretching, like one or two days every week. I don't usually stretch on weekends, for example. He also told me not to stretch too much just prior to lifting nor doing anything crazy physical.

    Regarding specific stretches, the ones which ultimately worked really well for me were the couch stretch and it's derivatives, various stretches while lying on the back, the squat stretch and a few other hip-flexor stretches for which I don't have names. If you want to do front squats or cleans you'll also have to work on your wrist flexibility. Some good ones on YouTube. Just note that some may or may not work for you so well. If you're serious about being more flexible you might want to see a sports PT. He or she will evaluate your body and give you the best options for you in one simple appointment.

    I don't know much about testosterone treatments, but is it true that once you start you are essentially stuck on them for life? The body quickly stops making it if you go on treatments, correct?

    I'm well over 40 but very athletic and have been for quite a while. I do things most people my age don't do. Not just heavy weights, but a lot of sprinting, jumping, rolling, climbing and overall conditioning. I do parkour, that kind of stuff. I've never needed treatments nor supplements aside from protein. I might take vitamins for a time but that's it. I drink a lot of water and eat pretty damn well every day. Sleep, too. The great thing about squatting every day or a few times a week particularly heavy weights, is that it can increase testosterone. Could be why I've been out trolling for chicks more often lately, I don't know. I probably don't get the same amount of testosterone as I would via treatments, but I've always been nervous about going on that stuff. I don't like fuckin around with my hormones like that, but I get that some people are alright with it.
