I decided to TOFTT and texted this girl due to her proximity. She suggested I pick her up at the Days Inn so we could go to her house. Red flag 1. I arrived, and she asked for money to pay her room before we leave. Red flag 2. She left her personal belongings in my car, so I knew she'd be back. We go to her house about 5 minutes away, but she asks that I wait in the car until she puts her dog away. I asked her to again leave her things in my car, but she refuses. I know now that I'm fucked and not in the fun way. After waiting 10 minutes, I ask her what's up. She says her roommates are leaving, so it'll be another minute. She is most likely double / triple booking to avoid no shows since that happens a lot to them. I'm not saying that's a good model but that's how some chooses to do it cause they can.
