The New York Times put out the lie about the police officer dying from injuries. Totally untrue and they very quietly retracted it later. Unfortunately, Trump hating dumbasses like you fell for it completely and you're too goddamn lazy to look up the real truth since it's just so much easier to go with your talking point narrative and spew your hatred onto the rest of us who do value accuracy. NO police officer died from the riot, one officer suffered a heart attack but there is zero evidence the riot caused. However, an unarmed woman was shot dead by the police. Had the dead person been a black person and the cop white, well.

These guys don't care about what really happened that day. They were spoonfed their talking points by CNN and the NYT and they will never let go of them.
