These are my rules (even though my wife knows & is okay with my hobby. Long story. And my work doesn't care, I don't like getting in trouble anyway):

1. Read this board before making contacts. You may find some useful tidbits, reviews, news etc.
2. Get a protonmail account and DO NOT link it with any of your phones or other emails (Protonmail says this is for account recovery but who wants that LOL).
3. Buy a burner phone using cash (make sure you are wearing face mask for COVID safety *cough* *cough* Also buy a prepaid card using cash only.
4. Register that number to a fake name / address if you have to.
5. You can use a burner App like "Burner" and create a burner number. I have not tried it yet though.
6. Use revealname.com to do a reverse lookup. I think it was Chunks who found out that sting guys have been using "hosted by Twilio" regularly since it has features to save the convo / texts.
7. When contacting AD, if you are unsure, do not give real name, pictures, address or place of work.
8. Always explicitly mention that you are not looking for anything illegal and just want to talk (just in case).
9. If pigs get to you, do not fold. Do not say anything that could incriminate you. Always ask if you are under arrest or free to go? They may keep you in squad car to mentally break you down. Keep your mouth shut. If you don't say anything they cannot use it against you in court. The more you talk, the more chances you may say something incriminating. Legally you have to give your name and address. That is all I think.
10. If they say you are under arrest, ask for attorney and shut your mouth like a locked box and wait for the attorney.
11. Always use VPN when browsing. NordVPN is good one based outside 5 eyes countries and does not log.

I think other seniors can add / correct these steps.

There is a huge active sting right now, live sting ads are up in Cleveland Akron Youngstown and all over Ohio. The best way to notify is to have posted this on the escort boards, more guys view that then the legal thread thus increasing their chance of being saved. This really isn't for guys like us who know what to look for, its for the more inexperienced to gain knowledge and expertise, or who just flat out arent as skilled and might not have the technical skills or insight we do.


For years, people have asked the question "i wish these guys would get on here and tell us what ad caused the bust." Well now, thanks to myself and several others we have deciphered and provided that information to answer the question! after these ads go dormant im sure our legal discussions will go back to the section that Cheech created.

Thanks for the information Rafter17. It's like a 2 hour drive so if that is how the service is I will save my money. I'm from Columbus and well the scene is garbage as of late.

I have thought about that and unless there a a few corroborating positive reviews from senior members, I won't consider the provider. That's not to say that le can't setup multiple accounts over time but I generally stick with the reviews of the long-time seniors with hundreds of posts.

My bigger concern is providers who cooperate with le in exchange for a reduction in charges.

Learn their real names and keep tabs on them through case search sites. alot of providers leave clues as to their real names right in their ads. Not foolproof, but damn close. They arent going to work with popo for shit like soliciting or weed possession, but F charges like heroin? Definitely not inconceivable that they wouldn't work with them for a reduction or even a dismissal depending on how dirty the cop is. The odds are extremely low, but extremely low is still too high for me when it comes to the possibility of meeting the bitches in blue. I do everything in my power to make the odds microscopic of being the guy in that bad position. Learn the tools and use them!

I do have one question. I went burner as you guys have suggested a while back, however just text using the burn number. You seem to indicate that in addition to the burner, you use a text app also. Am I interpreting correctly? If so, why and which app do you recommend?

I've used talkatone and textnow with decent success. A while back a provider refused to see me after she ran my number on spokeo and saw it was not a "real" number.

They have attempted this in the very recent past. Anything on this board is inadmissible for us, so it is inadmissible for them as well, no entrapment defense viable. Soon as they guide you to their frivolous ad and move you to their platform of twilio and whatever else they use, you are fair game to the law.

I do nothing on my own phone. I use a cheap prepaid and use apps on that there are so many apps are available you are dumb to use your number. I only bring that phone with me if things look sketchy throw it out, I've done that. Also if they want to look at your phone they need a warrant do not give them person there are many cases that have looked at this. About 15 years ago I challenged this and they lost. Never give them permission for anything ask for your attorney. Any game we play if it's buying pussy, drugs driving drunk whatever. Know what your rights are. Keep your pie hole shut LOL as said these busts are ez money for them and with all the human trafficking out there they can justify it. Be safe it will be interesting to see if they net a big fish though.
