Well apart from actually taking action to address Covid in a meaningful way he's also taken steps to not make the Justice Department the personal secret police of the president like it was under Barr. He's been taking far more steps than Trump ever did in repairing our relationships with NATO (which Trump made worse while he kissed the asses of autocratic strongmen like Putin) and he's been standing up to Russia more aggressively (most traditional republicans are even happy with that, even if the Trumpist wing still are pro-Putin).

Over the past year he's apparently done alot to fix alot of smaller issues too:

Like rejoining WHO and Paris Climate agreement, cancelling trump's gas pipleine permit, etc.

He also forced out a lot of Trump appointees who might have been problems.

That's a fact. Anybody that think's that their life will fundamentally change based on who is president, controls congress, is governor, or whatever is fooling themselves. Politicians don't care about me, you, or the man in the moon. They only want your next vote, so they pander to people and fool them. If they can fool enough of the voters, then they win the next election. Sure, they put on a pretty face and kiss up, but behind the scenes, they don't give a damn about anyone.

Although I would generally agree in most cases, I've got to vehemently disagree in this case, and I think the evidence is what you yourself say you've witnessed on this board. Why do you think that is? It's precisely because this president (lower case) has fundamentally changed people's lives, robbed them of their livelihoods and jobs, and changed the way they and their children live their lives by imposing on their most basic freedoms. He knew his mandates were illegal, but went ahead and put them in place anyway, knowing he would cost many their jobs in the meantime, or force them to put something in their body they didn't feel comfortable with. That's reprehensible and despicable, and he should be held liable for the financial and health repercussions of every single one of those individuals. I can't recall another President in our lifetimes that has made such an impact and ruined so many people's lives. So yes, I'm going to disagree here in this case. This president, despite his promise to unite, has intentionally done his best to divide this country, and he has succeeded. He and his party have paid the price for it too, and that's apparent from the polls. Let justice be served.

At least 75% of Americans do not want the America they are trying to force upon us. If this continues there will be an eventual show of force as the majority will fight back and it will not be pretty. I sincerely hope that this can be avoided but the possibility is definitely on the table now.
