Thanks for sharing guy. Thankfully you escaped unharmed. So, whenever I used to meet someone for the first time at a crappy motel I went in with my hand on a can of Fox Labs pepper spray, and also did a walkthrough in the room. I had a similar experience on SA not long ago. Communication was good and "she" wanted to do a Facetime meet. Which I usually wouldn't do, but little head was thinking. Soon as this asshole had my real number (yeah, I know, I know. That was extra dumb on my part) I got texts saying my wife would find out about my activities if I didn't pay up $400. I said sure let's meet and I'll pay you. Obviously they weren't up for meeting me in person. Haha And fortunately I don't have a wife so there was nothing really for me to worry about. But I'm sure some people end up trapped by these assholes. Wish I could get my hands on one of them.
