Just lucky, I guess. But it was an honest statement. I can go weeks without initiating contact. The point I was making is there are other tactics to attracting attention on that site, other than a good opening line and above average looks. I get a fair share of messages from the 3's, 4's and 5's, sure. My archive folder is full of those.

Years ago when I first joined, I created a woman's profile to see what other men wrote on their profiles. If you only create the account, but don't add pics or fill out any of the info. You can browse without being discovered. Maybe the reconnaissance was a factor.

The rest I agree with, being polite and a gentleman is a welcome change and similarly I pretty much always get a response to my messages. Everyone knows why we are on the site but the girls want to feel like they are different and respected. Just play the role needed.

Got one of those blast emails from the CEO, Brandon Wade today. Said he was rebranding the site to ' Just Date Up'.

First in was SeekingArrangements, then Seeking, and soon to be Just Date Up (JDU). To me, it looks like he's trying to get away from the public perception of PPM on there, with a wink and a nod of course.

Looks like they are getting pressure from somewhere. Noticed they dropped the 'A' from their SA logo today.

Well, yes. But how do you distinguish between those willing to hook up from those that aren't. I've had some luck getting conversations but I think I'm either being too blunt with some or too nonchalant with others.

To add-on: I have started probably 100+ conversations over the last week and have gotten around 25-30 numbers or snapchats. I have had two lunches and I have plans with both of them. 2nd one is entirely dtf but is in Boone (I'm west of CLT). The rest are hesitant, have ignored messages, and my absolute favorite person I've met so far blocked me for saying good morning the day after an amazing conversation. Can't say I'll ever understand women.

So every time I reported someone on there as a known escort, scammer or trying to get a deposit before meeting I got booted from the site. I believe SA knows all this is going on and doesn't care even though it violates their own terms.

Always tell the girls that you're flexible when it comes to the type of arrangement. Tell them that you don't engage in communication unless there's a chance to video chat. You can video chat on Seeking or Facetime. I prefer Google Duo because you can use a burner number.

I think they want to have as many accounts of women fake or not scammers or not, escorts and pimps or not because it fools a lot of people to think there are a lot more women on the site then there actually is. Personally, I don't have a problem with escorts being on there as long as it's disclosed. Let's face it, when you think you are meeting a college girl you are less likely to wear cover or have handy then when you know you are meeting an escort with a possibility of demons and various diseases.

Also, I think Sa will kick people off as an excuse to get men to sign up again and make double the money. This used to be such a great site pre 2017 (backpage laws) but now it's very different. So, I tell all friends here, be careful reporting if you want to stay on and be careful because most of the real women on there are pros so have cover ready!
