I have found that to be true in real life as well. I have found that people who are my age or older, almost always guess me to be 10-15 years younger than I am. I'm in my mid-60's. People in their 20's almost always guess my age with-in 3-5 years. Bottom line, old people almost always see anybody under 40 as much younger than they actually are, and to old people, anybody in their early 20's looks 15 or 16 years old.

In addition, the acceptance of overweight being the new normal. It's amazing how many truly obese people are walking around, thinking that they "could stand to lose a few pounds", not realizing that they aren't just a little fluffy, they are seriously obese. And of course, they accept and maybe even prefer that look in others. Those folks won't even notice an extra 15 pounds on a 5'3" woman

Same feeling for me. I can totally understand that a 50-60 years old guy might think a woman who is around 35 is young.

However, I am an Asian guy who is in my 30's and only girl under 25 is young to me.
