Posting this in the SW section as it pertains to SW'ers. Everyone knows I shoot from the hip but I can be tactful. That said, I have a question for my most learned hobbyists. Why do SW'ers have mongers advertise their availability (often accompanied by pics) in the open Forum? Advertisers who pay a site fee can't do it. I Is it to curtail paying the Forum's Advertiser fee? I mean they're getting the same bang others are paying A2 for. Hell they even get pics posted for free. Am I the only person noticing this?

Haven't seen this much "promotion" since a now mostly-idle moniker a curent active member used to use as his main posting moniker to Promote His Stable of Stars repeatedly and actually would post a "SW of the Month" Award.
