I have been finding out that even many legitimate escorts are now asking for deposits. If they are on legit sites they can't be scammers I wouldn't think. This is a major turnoff for me. The second you pay a deposit, you have transferred all the power in the transaction to them. Now they can dictate to you what happens next and all you can do is comply with their demands or lose your money. They can and will hold you hostage for all the usual bad behavior like ghosting, wasting your time for hours, and running errands for them on the way. Additionally it is just too tempting for them to take the money and run. What really can you do to get your deposit back? Call the cops? Leave a bad review? Yes we absolutely can force them to behave better and I am not talking about abusing anyone here. Just requiring them to hold up their end of a deal of a reasonable service for a reasonable price. But it requires ALL of us to think with our big head. Stop reinforcing bad behavior by paying pornstar prices and up front deposits to streetwalkers with laptops. I don't need to see any provider. It is a hobby for me. Most of the providers desperately need my money.
