I can't speak for LA, but I have to imagine you came across the same setup as we see a lot down here in SD where multiple numbers / ads go to the same destination.

They advertise "young" w / the implication that the ladies are all early twenties, and offering everything & anything, and if you ask, they'll swear they're early 20's, but you'll get there and see someone in their 40's or 50's. Usually an attempted high volume operation w / a combination of sketchy business model, or at least that's the impression I get. I went a couple of times and both times regretted not walking away from it before dropping payment.

It's probably just some low grade agency you were talking to, but not worthwhile either way. Unless you're in Vegas and they are coming to you, avoid hotels. Decent providers have apartments.

Get an HX account, pay the $25 to get out of quarantine, get 2 ratings (probably from seeing mediocre Chinese providers who will see you if you have no ratings), and that will get you in with all the KGirls and any other providers on HX, of which there are many in LA and OC. It will save you a lot of research and guessing.

If on PD, how many reviews and do reviews seem legit. If they have none of that stay far away and live to monger another day. Do your research, it doesn't take long to point out red flags. Fake Instagram pics would be enough for me to move on.
