If the number you used was from a reputable source (trusted monger, hx profile of org, straight from their website, or switter profile, ect.) then anything they ask for regarding screening is legit. They set the criteria and you have to provide it if you want to play. Different orgs will have different standards. It's been a trend for the past couple years that screening have become more strict and invasive.
