Stopped in the other day, and did an hour with YaYa. She's probably 30's, but very spinner-like and bubbly. She said she was new there. What I think you are seeing is someone who has zero English skills i. e. , they speak / write Chinese and know little or no English, and they are writing a story in their native tongue and using a translator app to translate to English.

They have no idea how ridiculous the result is since they do not know proper English.

These apps can have a particularly hard time with idioms, such as pain in the ass, she is really hot, a high roller, bait and switch, sugar coat it, etc.

If you want to try something amusing, cut and paste a post by one of the well known posters (the post should have a paragraph or two) translate it to Chinese and then cut and paste the Chinese characters and translate it back the English (use different apps, one for E to C and a different one for C to E. )
