A big plus one on that. Unless someone considers chain restaurants as good. I'm not one of them.

Good info on those other restaurants BTW.

If you like Caribbean food. Try Bongos. Non Pretentious place with incredible sandwiches. Do a search for "Bongo Cafe in Seattle" and you will find it with no problems. The Desi Sandwich is - "Citrus Braised Pork, caramelized onions, pickled jalapenos, banana peppers, cilantro and house aioli on a toasted saba roll" and it is extremely good. This place is in North Seattle so maybe a 30 min drive (could be more if you do it during rush hour). Hope this helps. Seattle has a decent food scene and I think you will really like it.

Welcome to Seattle next month. There is a celebrity chef from this area (Tom Douglas) and he is not the best but not bad either. The good thing that I like is that he is incredibly versatile so he has Italian, Mexican, pacific northwest and many other types of restaurants. I particularly like this place called "Serious Pie" it is a pretty authentic brick oven pizza (have the fennel sausage and peppers pizza) and you will see what I mean. Each pizza is a napolitan style so one pizza per person. They also have pretty good micro-brews. This is in downtown Seattle so about 20 mins from the airport. Every weekday evening they have a happy hour where pitchers of beer and pizza is half price. So if you go there in a group it really makes it convenient you can try out a bunch of different beers and pizza combos.

Just do a search on Tom Douglas and you would see all his restaurants. Like I said he is not the best. But if you come to the PNW you should at least try him out. Hope that helps.

    Best of

Hard to say without knowing more about your tastes, but a couple people have pushed din tai fung on you. The one recommending south center area is a Rex alt, most restaurants in that area tend to be chains, it's pretty meh area for restaurants imo. This is a big generalization but imo the more ethnic the neighborhood the better the food options tend to be, if you prefer authentic mom and pop type joints. There's been a lot of new development in the white center area that is worth checking out.

If you're looking for dumplings there's a much better option called Mama Dough's in an Asian strip mall complex not too far from where you are. Next door to it there's another Asian restaurant called hue ki gy that has some phenomal garlic butter wings. Both worth trying for Asian food.

For sports bars there's a brews and young hotties joint called Twin Peaks near southcenter that has its own microbrews served by scantily clad college girl types. Kinda spendy for a go-to, you'll probably need to discover a neighborhood joint for yourself for that, but peaks is good for an occasional visit or to catch a game.

Southcenter mall area in Tukwila just down the hill from SeaTac has quite a few good places. I haven't been out to eat there in several years now so I don't know who is still in business since covid, but I really liked din tai fung Chinese resturant in the mall, albeit a little expensive compared to some places.

Their location in Bellevue used to be more consistent. Back to Tukwila, There used to be a decent Asian buffet across from claim jumper in the old theatre parking lot. There are a number of other good places to eat near the mall.
I will strongly second Din Tai Fung right now, here and now. That's very good cooking and very good food! They are busy as all hell, so if you're in a hurry, just forget it and drive thru somewhere. But don't miss it. They deserve the business--and you won't regret a single thing about it. Proof of vaccination is required to dine in, but carryout is available too.

Way To Get Back at Scammers!

This story is just what I like:

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/73-old-yo...201133711.html

I wonder how we can out smart those women who want to scam you by requiring payment up front via Zelle, CashApp, EBay Gift cards, etc.

Buuuut, if you think you can determine birth gender based on a mannerism or a smell or a look or anything else, well, good luck with that: it's hardly foolproof. Unless you're karyotyping, you can't be sure whether the person was Assigned Female At Birth or Assigned Male At Birth. And even then, analyzing the pair of sex chromosomes--most people have an XX pair (AFAB) or an XY pair (AMAB) --you're only identifying whether the person was assigned female or male at birth, respectively. From that microscopic analysis, you can't establish their gender identity nor whether they've undergone gender confirmation surgery.

Like Aussie said, "There's nothing wrong with being trans or a trans SW. " Now let's fucking amplify that 100 fold. If you're transgender, you're going to' have a tough time of it. The world is not going to be kind to you. And I'm here to say, hey, I've got your back. I'm a cis male with all of the associated privileges. The least I can do is publicly support you by honoring your pronouns and denouncing transphobic rhetoric.

Oh, and while I'm on my soapbox, let's not put quotes around the words "women" and "men". To be sure, it's convenient shorthand, implying that there are real women who possess stereotypical feminine qualities and real men who possess stereotypical masculine qualities, but also suggesting that not all men and women are real in their gender identity. That kind of reductive narrative does us all a disservice. Let's acknowledge that the world is far more complicated with gradations exceeding our limited vision and desire for binary options..

I strongly agree with this post. That board is basically useless. I mean if you can't get objective info on a provider, and scams are so prevalent there, what good is it? Excessive price gouging providers, with plenty of deceptive ads with every trick in the book, white knight members, mostly positive affirmation reviews.

But, for many guys, 300-400 is a lot of money, and each session means that much more to them, and when they feel ripped off, it takes them longer to recover. Maybe Jason can have a bad date for 500, but can afford to book another girl the next day, and get the bad taste out of his mouth. Not all of us can do that.

If he thinks the girls are underpaid, why doesn't he just give them an extra 100, to make up for the other guys? Don't ruin it for other guys, making us pay more.

I wonder if he has some stake in this. Does he get kickback if certain girls make more money? Or even worse, is he truly a clueless simp, who thinks that he's going to get a real life wife or girlfriend, by coddling these girls?

Jason, I would be hard-pressed to find any male on this board, who appreciates you trying to make us pay more for these dates. Keep it to yourself.
+1000! I wonder what Jason's job is? Is he one of those clueless tech types who are making a bunch of money, and don't care how he spends it?

You agree, not knowing why she's going there, and then something happens and suddenly you're on the hook.

I'm trying to remember, but I think this happened to someone on TNA a long time ago if i'm not mistaken. TNA provider asked one of her goofball regulars to bring her to a casino so she could work the floor for dates while he played slots and had free drinks. Then security caught her because she was well-known to them for trolling the floor for dates. They called the police, who took her into a room and she gave-up the guy as her driver pretty much immediately. They let her go because for her it was only a misdemeanor and she bailed, but they came out and got him because driving her there while with the intent to solicit and "work" was a felony. She gave him up to save her own ass and he was nice enough to bring the w***e to the casino in the first place, LOL. I'm not really on TNA much but I do seem to recall that rather dramatic post some time ago. And from what I recall the weirdo was on TNA defending her actions in that post.
