I think this is pretty accurate People "invent" name to describe the location any to help facilitate communication / reviews.

A lot of these places have no names that they post outside the business and a lot of these names get picked up on the forum by other members or become the name of places in rubmaps when somebody submits the spot of the website.

Some places names came from now online advertising and others just street name what is long as everybody agrees on a common designation it's useful.

I personally liked way before the "no-name place on Robinson" was used to describe a spot. It's come back now (still no signage) but it's called something different now on rub maps so for convenience some people just use that designation.

So it doesn't really matter to me so much what you call it as long as you know where it is. But I think places that have names on signs out front are usually are not called something else, it's only the places that are trying to be low-key that creative confusion.

Posted some thing a long time ago about how when the "Apple lady" closed and they moved over to an office complex on Lusk. That only lasted there a few months before they moved a few more blocks down the street to Mesa Ridge Court, Which is been up and running in the same place for a couple years now.

The "problem" with MRC / Flanders is that the spa has no official name or sign (other than #102 SPA) on their storefront. Consequently people have to "invent" a name to refer to them.

Strike three: This is not< sour grapes; It is, however, an extension of the whole experience. Especially in contrast to spas like Vitality and Serenity, this place is the dumpiest AMP I've been in. I mentioned the small rooms (no swinging the cat! Beyond that, the table had only the permanent covering on it. No sheet, no towels, no disposable cloth, no nothing! I suppose it cuts down on laundry, but sanitary isn't a thing here. I did not realize that was the case until I was getting dressed. Ditto for the pillow that was produced: it was some oblong throw pillow for a couch with no covering either. The bathroom toilet worked fine (a plus), but the sink took the prize. It is a blue plastic deep sink with a spray nozzle more suited for washing pets than hands. The only soap was big bottle of Kirkland body wash. If you're thinking what I'm thinking. ? For the extra point: in the sink was a plastic dish that held an empty disposable douche bottle. Sorry, I need to take a shower. Again. I guess I have another reason to stay out of desolate Santee.

I recently passed by Lucky Spa so stopped to check it out. It's such a dismal spa, but as you mentioned the lady is not bad looking. Anyways I was going to go back to give them a try, but saved myself the time and money thanks to your report.

You mentioned Serenity and soon after reading your report I got a text from them. I took it as a sign and met a cute young Vietnamese girl, Gigi. She looks early 20's, tiny, and very friendly. What a contrast between Serenity and Lucky Spa. Serenity has an upscale appearance and you can tell it's very clean.

I can roll with that. It appears that I may have gotten a bit of the wrong impression over the last couple years in seeing how people call the spots out.

Beyond any similar cases, though, I stand by my initial comments. Haha.

Some people on here will refer to shops by part of their contact info, and others will just call them by name. Personally I think the contact info method (MRC, etc.) is silly and causes more confusion rather than being helpful, but it also feels like people who only use those methods of identifying the shops may feel like it makes them part of a more exclusive clique of hobbyist.

I also, truly believe that anyone who thinks that "MRC / Lusk, etc. " is some kind of secret unbreakable code that fools any watchful eyes is deceiving themselves.

Thanks. I've seen Flanders talked about, couldn't put the two together. People can call it whatever; it's nice to know that the community is open to clarifying things when needed.

This is a little late as I have been travelling. Was able to set an appointment for 9 AM on 12/23. I travelled from North County and there were 3 of us waiting for them to open LOL. I had my appointment with Lisa as I like petite girls. She is spectacular, amazing body and very sensual.
