As stupid as it may sound, I am genuinely grateful that this site hasn't been busted or innundated by spam or worse.

Whoever is running it deserves respect for not even charging us-oops, it'll probably happen one day, but in the US, this appears the best bulletin site going.

Sometimes even the supposed higher end ones do this. Not making excuses, but did she offer to make it up to you? She also may not have known the lengths that you took to make it to meet? Quite the trip but usually with good reviews and a solid rep, these occurrences are minimized.
