Detroit became a low-ball town heaing into and out of the Great Recession. Touring escorts have declined dramatically in visits to Detroit. I saw touring pornstars when they were escorting in the early aughts, but they are few and far between now. I paid 500 back then for lower-profile pornstars back then. Girls like that would command more today, and the Detroit market won't bear those prices, for the most part.

The supply of escorts, hookers, strippers is way down from five years ago, and much lower than from 10 years ago in metro Detroit. Why? Who knows. So yeah the prices and offerings suck. Choices are pay more for more exclusive pricey escorts who don't advertise on STG, Mega, etc. Check Tryst, Twitter, Eros, etc. The streets are the worst they've ever been. Girls that we look at as 7's or 8's would be 2's, 3's, or 4's in the 80's. Look at videos of other cities' streetwalkers. They look like and dress like our strippers. As for strippers that I pay now in the 120 - 150 range, I wouldn't give them $80 ten years ago. That's just how bad it is. So as I've aged, my expectations are tempered. An escort who I paid 200 around 2005 would command 4-500 in today's market and not be as hot or fun as then. The Cass Corridor and Woodward hookers were as hot as most strippers other than at BT'S or FC.

That's just the current reality, like it or not.
