Posts: 73Off topic but I went to the homepage of that rag and damn the byline of every story is the same dude.
On topic, I can't believe (well actually I can) the resources used to catch one woman.

Posts: 422This woman looks better than 99 percent of women her age, but that's not saying much. And the rate she is charging is ridiculous. Women over 40 should have to pay me 10 dollars to get a creampie.

Posts: 32Waste of tax payer dollars
Thanks. It's obvious how taxpayer dollars go down the drain in stings like that. It's a lot of resources and manpower to pull to arrest just one female individual who allegedly provide this kind of service! Sickening. What kind of society we have become. The woman, BTW, looks calm, and dignified. She may have to feed kids or just survive in this socially reprehensible environment / community she lives in.

Posts: 422I creampied Melissa F aka Mimi twice for thirty bucks. Her regular walking area is Sullivant just west of Demorest by Key Bank / Jay's Sports Lounge.

Posts: 96I agree that it should be legalized. It will not stop trafficking though. I understand in Europe in places where brothels are legal, the demand outstrips the supply, so they straight up bring girls in from poor countries in a very shady and akin to slavery way. You would like to think with things being regulated it would be easier to catch these regulated and taxed businesses, but it is still a huge issue there.

Because enforcement is lax, and IF they get caught, they pay a fine that is usually way less than the money they made from the illegal activity, and no one ever seems to go to jail for the crime. Unless you made the punishment way worse for sex work, which will just keep the stigma and difficulty of starting and running said businesses for that work very high. Which will make the underground trade of it as high as it is now.
How about this. Look at the number of people who smuggled cigarettes and liquor across state lines, just to save a little money on the taxes. You can bet that cheating to get around taxes and reporting income would be rampant for sex work.
Again, I think it should be legal. But let's not kid ourselves, it will not fix everything. Which sucks. I know there are some guys who want to treat women like trash, but I would like to think that most of us would like these girls to safer, healthier and happier. I mean, a happy person who likes what they do is going to be way more fun and giving in their work.
TL / DR. Legalization / regulation surely won't fix everything, but it could help, so why not try it.

Posts: 356Marijuana vs Alcohol syndrome
The stigma attached to prostitution is relatively the same stigma attached to marijuana. Alcohol has killed more people yet it continues to be the socially acceptable. I can take a girl out to an expensive restaurant than take her home & bang never to see her again. & that's totally fine. It's all a matter of perception.

Posts: 114Yup. The sick fucks who thought they were going to meet a 15-year old? The 8th amendment needs to be suspended in such cases.

Sugar babies been having sex with old rich guys for years; they want his money, he wants their sex, and both are ok with the arrangement.
Prostitution needs to be legalized across the entire 50 states. With legalization comes regulation, taxation, etc. If providers had to register with the government, and get licensed (and taxed) wouldn't that eliminate any chance of a provider from being 'trafficked against her will'?

That's the only victory. Finding missing kids, but sure we can spend more time talking about a hypothetical sex registry than real children.

Plus, how come these Ohio week long stings never include the other 2 major cities, Cleveland and Cincinnati?
