I asked for the return of my deposit several times throughout the day. She said she needed to talk to her manager and then stopped responding. Fortunately I'm only down a Benjamin.

Some guys will say never give a deposit. I won't go THAT far, but definitely never give a deposit unless she has a reliable review track record.
