Does anyone remember when the two liberal assholes berated me about inflation, saying it was good and not a problem. Well gas jumped over 6% in November alone. They resorted to insults and name calling. Well seem I was right and they were full of nonesense.

Workers are pressing for a raise of at least 5 percent to keep up with a historic inflationary surge set off by the end of pandemic lockdowns. The bank says it won’t budge from a planned a 1.3 percent increase.

That simply won’t offset inflation’s pain, said Mr. Bowles, whose union represents 20 percent of the bank’s employees. “Workers shouldn’t have to take a hit when prices rise so much,” he said.

You should read the cdc info! Your link offers the evidence that supports the claims that the vaccines are safe and effective and details the rarity of complications.

There are perfectly healthy men and women who die from the shot but no one wishes to acknowledge it. The true ignorance is the latest data release showing China virus hospitalizations of those 65 and older in Maine are up 902% since July, even with 99.9% of seniors at least partially clot shotted and 63% having had two clot shots and a booster clot shot. But the truly ignorant can't see that true ignorance. Makes sense right? How can the ignorant possibly see true ignorance or genius for that matter. They lack insight. Right? But you can't see that can you?

Are cases up? Of course they are. The current vaccines were developed for the alpha, beta, and gamma strains. They are less effective for delta and omicron, and you can certainly catch a breakthrough case even if fully vaccinated. The difference is that even though the current vaccines are not targeted specifically against the current mutation, they significantly reduce the severity of the disease and even more significantly reduce the chances of you dying from it. A recent study showed that 92% of covid related in the last three months deaths were unvaccinated.

Its easy, and apparently fun, to pick out two numbers and come up with a broad generalization of "902%." Its quite another to put it in context with the real world.
