She told me she was having trouble walking, and was diagnosed with ALS, (Lou Gherig's disease, same thing that Steven Hawkings had). She told me she is facing it positively, said she lived a good life and has come to terms with it. Please note, she could use some support, and ALS is NOT contagious! This is the reason she no longer walks.

I always had a good time with CiCi and wish her the best with what time she has left.

ALS scares the shit out of me. I'd rather get cancer or almost anything else. The idea of being "locked in" and unable to move but still fully conscious is terrifying. (That's what happens to most people in the last stage of the disease.) Fuck that. If I get it, I'll kill myself before that stage. Unless she's older than my guess, she's pretty young to get ALS. It usually doesn't strike before age 40 and usually not until your mid-60's. Thank God it's really rare.
