Japan is a challenging and expensive monger destination. As a gaijin (foreigner) you either need some basic Japanese language skills or a local taking you to BJ bars or to the Soaplands. I haven't been there for 10+ years but assume that the web makes it easier today to find what you are looking for. However, it will be very expensive.
