Seems sketchy. I'd guess her play is to try and get you to send her the card details once you've bought it and then run off with the funds. I would stay away, personally.

If a provider says you must pay a deposit, move along. If a provider says you must pay a deposit via Google Play (or any other for that matter) gift card; move along. It's 100% a scam.
