We have our own games. I did not claim we Americans invented superior games. I just complained about the media pushing soccer.

Soccer has existed in our sp school system and organized sports leagues for longer than I have been alive. Why all the hostility because IMHO.

Because I think it is being over done. Especially with 4 and 5 year olds.

And I'll tell you who's "pushing" soccer on America: it's families and kids. It's pretty ubiquitous, especially since kids can play league soccer from age 4 or so. A great devourer of Saturdays, let me tell you!

I wish that was the case here but Manchin's just making it seem like he's putting country first. What he really is doing is putting himself and his family business (which happens to be in the natural gas industry) first. This makes him appear to be a patriot because it puts him at odds with the traitorous lunatics in his own party but bottom line is that he just looking out for himself. He is making them squirm though and the price tag for their wonderful spending bill is coming down from 3. 5 trillion to around 2 trillion at this point and he is at the epicenter of the major infighting now taking place within the Marxist Democratic Party. I'm all for that. The Republicans in the meantime are just the same old do-nothing doofuses they have always been. We will eventually replace them as we will eventually crush the bastards who are actively seeking to turn America into a Marxist totalitarian utopia.

Its a lovely thought, but I think you are giving too much credit to the power of the President. What we really need is a political party (or even better, two) that shares these ideals. Laws are passed by Congress and until we can get past the current environment of partisanship, the country will not be progressing. This "I'm against it because you are for it" mentality has got to stop.
