So I felt like a massage yesterday and found an ad on Eros. Googled the number and found another ad for $100 cheaper. Called and made the appointment and headed to Randolph. Related to your situation but not while mongering. I typically never call and never ever give my phone number and it's set up as private I'd. I was sitting at home once, my cell rang and I ignored it. Number was familiar so Google it and was local police business line. I called it and asked if they called and they said no. Seems telemarketers can mask their numbers so you think it's someone else and will pick up. That was a couple years ago. Now my sell reads "likely scam" when it's an unknown number. BTW, doubt the FBI would call, they like to knock on doors.
