I wouldn't say everyone, it's fairly simple. Never, ever, ever, ever pay a deposit if you cannot find reviews, a lot of reviews of that provider. And never pay a 50% deposit!! I know a lot of providers that I've seen multiple times that now require deposits. I've met a few that require deposits but I tell them all, the max amount I'm willing to pay is. 3, not a big deal if I lose that. BTW, it only takes a few minutes to set up a new account on cashapp, venmo or the other apps and I doubt they will take your report seriously if you haven't made a payment to that $cashtag.
