Sharkesque, in case this might help you and others with posting links to thread replies, here's how I do it. Before you upload the report, click the "go advanced" or "preview report" button. And look closely at the coding of the link. It should have a URL in brackets all the way at the beginning and at the ending of the link. Instead, this web site seems to trigger the last URL coding early. Maybe it is caused by the # sign, don't know for sure. Anyway, when you find the errantly placed last URL code, select it, including the square brackets around it, cut, and then paste on the actual end of the link. Last, preview the report again and test your link, before you upload.

It might be easier if I could post the errant automated link, and the corrected version. But I cannot figure out how to show that without the system turning it into a working link, and hiding the URL code. Maybe a mock up would help. To do that, I simply doubled the first letter of URL in the bracketed coding, preventing it from hiding the brackets and stuff.

When you test the broken version of the link, it usually takes you close to the intended thread reply, but not quite the right spot. And the error seems to compound as the thread receives subsequent posts, eventually making it really hard to find the intended comments.

By the way, this is not unique to this site. The quirk / feature occurs on many forums.
