My steps are like yours. I don't travel too far but if they can't be ready and meet when they say, I'll wait 5 minutes of grace time. If I don't get the room number, I'm gone.

After that, they're welcome to blow up my burner phone. I know how to ignore crap with no complaints.

I got ahold of "Demi" last weekend over when I saw the posting. First off, there are four separate numbers in that ad, but I'd seen Demi a couple years ago and a lot of the writing in the ad looked familiar. I used the one at the bottom of the ad text, as opposed to one of the two in the header or the one past the "Call Me" button. It took four hours before I got a reply, but the response felt right. I asked if I could see her and the reply was "Yeah but I require deposit now. ".

I asked "What do you mean?

"Cashapp half before I see you half when your here".

"Oh. No rational person would do that. Sorry. ".

This was followed by the person on the other end telling me the last three guys were happy to send half up front and I was just broke or some similar crap. I responded by asking how it was possibly worth their time to pretend to be mad that I wasn't going to get scammed. No response after that.

In conclusion: I'm 90% sure that's just someone using one of Demi's old ads, slapping on several new scam phone numbers, and trying a deposit scam. There's a small chance it's really her scamming, or she genuinely thinks it's reasonable after seeing other ads trying that. The only hints towards that I have is that I think one of the numbers on the ad is a legitimate one for some other girl in the area that Demi might have worked with, and the otherwise natural feeling text responses.

I tried the 8483 number, which she used 2 years ago. No reply, and I left my name in the hopes she remembered me. No response. Last time I saw her off Maple St. She was working a day job and just doing meetings on the side to add to her income. It seemed like she had cleaned herself up, but who knows.
