So it looked like it had been awhile since anyone reported on this place, so after being told at 2:30 I could make a 4 pm apt for a 90 min massage at 2 E on Harrison, showing up and being told they're 2 busy for 90 min, I left and decided to give Rose Spa a shot, further down the street.

Despite outward appearances, inside it's very nice. But that's about the only good thing I can say about the experience. I paid $105 for 90/ minutes, praying the woman taking my money was just the Mamasan and not the one actually doing the massage, but god wasn't listening. She was late 40's, your typical looking Mamasan, and by her callused hands, has been doing this a long time. The massage itself was ok, she was good at working the muscles and nerves the way you want when getting a massage, but there was to much fast, hard rubbing, like Mr. Miagee was in the corner telling her to "Wax on, Wax off".

After about 70 minutes, she has me turn over, and in my head I'm trying to think of a polite way to make sure she doesn't get her hands on my bait and tackle. She massaged my head and neck, upper chest, and each arm and leg. And that was it. I didn't need to come up with an excuse because that's where it ended. Waist of time and money.

My best advice is look at a guy's history of posts and their quality and see how long he has been on the forum. And then just use your own best judgment about whether he is for real or not.
