I still don't see how OF has any long-term impact. I don't have any stats or articles to back what I'm saying, but I don't think OF is as lucrative for most hot women on it as it is for the top earners. Also, even if it is, it's not like the income stays steady forever. Plus, there's the videos being online forever. I think most girls who do OF were going to go that route instead of stripping anyway, and vice-versa. Maybe there are some baddies who would have been popular in a strip club but chose OF, but it's not on the scale where it has a large effect. Assuming talent has gone down (I don't live in Detroit), I still think the pandemic is the biggest factor / reason there.

A few women make a good amount. Most make less than a thousand bucks. As in. A lot less. The OP names one of the few and pretends it applies to most. It doesn't. The average is less than $150 / month, but IDK if that matter since most don't even keep it up, so how do you judge?

Dancers aren't making money on OF. While many charge $0-10 / month and make their money on private sales, I've found most dancers charge $20-50 / month, have nearly no followers, have no content, and are just there to squeeze a few more dollars out of their regs. And, you find out they don't care and stop posting or post 1 pic a month. You quit. It requires a lot of marketing, updates, and connections to get off the ground. Way more work than just about all are willing to do.

OF is there for most to be a 'try before you buy' service; whether buy means 'time' or regulars at the club. Dancers have an unlimited source of new regs without spending the time... so they don't. They approach it as a 'get that $$$ from regs' service. Good for them. But, they aren't getting anything. Anyone who thinks otherwise hasn't even bothered to join an OF site, so probably shouldn't comment. I can't tell you how many dancers sites I've gone to with less than 1 post a month, less than 10 posts, no likes (sign of no subscribers), and wanting a boatload for that. They may get it from a few, but not more than a handful.

Yup and this article goes to show if you are a good looking woman you will never return to a club, restaurant, or in this case being a nurse. Former nurse, current wife and mom making 200K a month! Fact is a company and individuals making that kind of money is not going to kill it over "morals". The only way this stops is if guys stop paying (not going to happen) or if the government over steps and shuts it down.

Think what you want but I am confident this has an impact on the number and quality of girls dancing.

Things do not look good for old H8's. Everyone else is open and they are still closed. There could still be a few things going on.

1) They have bigger problems than we know about. Maybe the owners are done with the place.

2nd) It is hard to believe but Michigan covid unemployment runs until September. I am not sure if it still includes the federal amount but all in all a boat load of money. Probably more than most of us earn in a week. That is like over a year of unemployment.

And 3rd normal jobs are all over the place and minimum wage is up. Of course all of this is just speculation as I have not heard anything specific.

It sounds gloomy and from asking at the other places, my understanding is that it will be at least a year and even that sounds optimistic.

South has been going downhill for several years and IMO, that's mostly due to the management they've had running things there. The manager they've had for at least the last two or three years has been a reason that a number of fairly attractive, good performers have left and from what I've seen and from the conversations I've had with several of the girls, he treats them very bad and they refuse to work there anymore. Basically, girls seem to have a love or hate relationship with him and the vast majority of them fall into the hate category. It would be great to see the club get back to its former glory days. Or at least somewhat closer. But until they make changes, it'll never happen. I don't know if the owners have blinders on or don't realize it but I'm sure that the declining bar receipts tell the story.

The last time I remember this club being "good" was about 10 years ago, when a manager named Ryan was there. When he was there, you could expect a number of girls with a few decent ones on regular basis and it wasn't uncommon have a mostly full or packed house.

Thanks. Someone who gets it. OF it seems, was intent on raising more capital in which to pay investors. Their model is damn near brilliant, BUT the conrinuing boogaboo is banks. Mastercard won't handle their transactions; others will follow. It's the conservative banking industry, and the religious right / evangelicals / faux conservatives that are driving all of this shit. Yeah, I get the underage and trafficking angle, but driving it further underground has been demonstrated to be as harmful, or more so to sex workers and their safety. BT's Dearborn, Henry VIII, Bogarts, Landing Strip, Silver Crikets and Flight Club are the stand outs in this space. LS and FC tend to be the high end of the spectrum with the best looking girls and the highest prices. BT's and Criket are middle of the road with decent talent every now and again but better pricing and H8 North and Bogarts are low end with a diamond in the rough infrequently, but they are the most affordable for most people. Anything can be had anywhere on this list for the right price. As like with most places, negotiate at the table, set some rules and don't pay until the session is over. Happy hunting.

I'm from Florida where everything goes in the strip. I know most cities have rules like no touching the girls during dances. Is Detroit one of those cities?
