As rambo mentioned, triple check what he / she may have on you. If nothing, f with them. If you slipped up and they do have something, then its a case by case sort of thing. If you are sure that you aren't sharing any personal info in the hobby, you can just choose to ignore it. In my opinion this is a scam to get money by threatening.
