During pandemic. The entire world closed down LOL. I was just there pre-covid in Sept to November and things haven't changed dramatically at all. Places are more hidden (but not if you know how to search korean words online LOL. RLDs have been bottom of the barrel for a long time in Korea and most people can care less about RLDs anymore (along with local kareoke girls in the rural areas). They even have Soapy massage buildings now with 10+ 20+ private rooms. If anything, things have gotten more upscale compared to 5-10 years ago, still at reasonable prices. OPs websites do get shutdown frequently and it's always been like this, but actual operations are extremely hard for authorities to crack down. If you've been to one, you'd know why.

I've literally been to OP's literally hundreds of times. I am Korean, and I've lived in Korea for a few years. I've been there after the pandemic hit (a month ago) so this isn't some 3rd hand, I heard from a friend stuff I'm saying. I'm not talking about the websites that are getting shutdown. One of the major advertising websites got shut down about a year and a half ago if I remember correctly, but I'm talking about the actual operations (OPs). Compared to 5 years ago, the number of places has decreased dramatically.
