Well, I saw Carli the other day (just talked to her) and she said she and Marie were an item years ago. She claimed the guy refused to pay her and she stabbed him. Simple. This is just my guess, but it is generally true that meth users easily become violent, and she might be a meth user. I have noticed many east side addicts had converted their choice of drug to meth.

Rosemary is a her way or no way kind of person. A disagreement happens easily.

Someone I was talking to said something about the guy's motive being racism, and I said that I guessed the primary motive was a one man war on handjobs, with racism or misogyny (or both) making him view the providers as not being people with lives he was destroying. I got treated to a lecture about how sexist and misogynistic it was of me to assume that people working at an AMP were likely to be sex workers. I pointed to the various busts that have happened around there as proof that I wasn't off-base in my thinking, because I sure as shit wasn't going to cite my own experiences in AMPs.
