Has this happened to anyone else recently? About a week ago I called an ad but there was no answer. This is the number 774-419-9991. I didn't leave a voicemail. A couple of hours later I get a text from that same number saying "Hi, I'm available in Medford today. " I never replied to the text and just deleted it. Now today I received a call that said it was from Boston FBI Headquarters. I had a hard time understanding the guy at first but he was claiming that I had searched for a prostitute online on such and such date. He never properly identified himself and he demanded to know what website I used to search for escorts. His tone was very hostile after asking him to repeat himself. He would ask me a question and I would repeat the questions back to him to make sure I understood him. He was getting increasingly annoyed by this. He finally got frustrated and said I wasn't paying attention and that I should get a lawyer and then he hung up. I immediately went into my web and call history on the date in question and found the number. Only number I searched that day so it had to be from this ad linked below or the girl in the ad or her pimp. Googled the number and this scammer is indeed spoofing the FBI's Boston phone number. Pretty much knew right away this was a scam. These scammers are now impersonating the FBI I guess.

Yes, this happened to me, but it was even stranger. The number I texted was a girl I had seen before, and had a very good time with. I had no idea how scammers got her number.
