It was an ad with a super attractive blonde chick. Claiming to be real and so on. I sat in my office and corresponded with that one. Finally sent address to the Holiday Inn on Big T Way in Greensboro. I sent a response "Wow, this is crazy, but I am actually here now because I work at the Hotel. Weird thing is, I never say you check in" The response was, I have been here 8 days and haven't really left my room. And I said "Hmm, its only been me and one other person that have done check ins and they haven't seen a young blonde come through here either, I even checked the guest log and there are no young females staying here" Crickets. Ha ha All from the comfort of my office because I knew ahead of time it was a high potential for a scam.

On another note, thanks for your contributions to the board. We can't control what these girls do just as much as they can't control what we do.

Could not agree more. You do a lot to help us all out and I have enjoyed some of the others you have posted about and loved each one that I have tried. Can't control everything but you do a great job for those of us that may not be in the area all the time as well. I for one appreciate what you do.

No need to apologize. Your efforts to help out your brothers are appreciated. Sometimes it just doesn't work out.

I've had someone try that scam on me once. They didn't ask for the money, but the set up was the same and they waited for me to offer. Needless to say, I didn't bite.

UTR's are like that, they just disappear somewhere along the line. I've had several through the years who left me with that sad, empty feeling after disappearing completely. Usually they are the best ones, too. They are UTR for a reason, and that reason can be fleeting. Sad, but as you said, back to the "thrill of the hunt".

As far as I know the requirements for becoming a Senior Member are still the same. That would be having been a Regular Member for more than six months and having 25 or more posts. Having some posts that provide some information and not just asking questions gets you more credit with the community.
